  • Participating in a project
    • Focuses on finding a document management system for CAPEX investment projects where more than 5.000 new documents need to be handled monthly due to the large number of engineering design plans. The main challenge here is to find a solution that covers not only the document revision but the entire lifecycle of the documents from the early stage of the project until the operation phase.

    • Request for Information, Request for Proposal, Business Requirement Documents, and Test cases for software implementation projects.
  • Vendor selection:
    • Finding possible vendors with possible solutions and evaluating them based on different criteria with the help of an evaluation matrix.

  • Analyzing business processes and identifying possible gaps.
  • Propose the most suitable software for the business.

2017 - 2019

Business Analyst in Logistics Area

Hungary

Specialized in supply chain, inventory, and warehouse management modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AX 2012 ERP systems

  • Software testing in Microsoft Dynamics AX:
    • Our product needs to be improved continuously, meaning fixing encountered issues after new releases and testing new developments.
  • Specifications writing:
    • A functional design document and applicable requirement document.
  • Participating in internal document writing:
    • Issue handling process, prerequisite setups, etc.
  • BI/SQL:
    • Designing and testing business intelligence/data cubes via generated files, SQL queries, and tools like MS Power BI, Targit, and Excel
  • Working in agile methodology:
    • Working in 2-week sprints, daily catch-up on scrum meetings with retrospective and sprint planning meetings at the end/beginning of the sprint.
  • Mentoring new members:
    • It means educating our new colleagues, not just about what we do but about how we do it as well. That includes the daily work, company policies, company values, how to handle certain situations, and so on.
  • Library maintenance:
    • Our product processes must be maintained, which means all of our supported methods have to exist in written format step by step for training purposes and finding the possible issues. It also helps to find the gaps between the customer's current system and our product during the alignment phase.
  • Other tasks:
    • Due to a lack of resources, I have to do consultant or mainly test analyst-related tasks sometimes, like core product process testing, new development test case writing, and testing, etc.

2014 - 2017

Logistics Consultant

Hungary

Specialized in supply chain, inventory, and warehouse management modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AX 2012 ERP systems

  • Software testing in Microsoft Dynamics AX:
    • Implementing our product to several customers that require new developments that are not included in our product (tests, documenting). Besides that, our customers always have various issues that need to be investigated and solved.
  • Participation in system implementations on-site:
    • I spent half a year in Australia on an implementation project where I participated in two go-lives and the implementation of three companies (issue testing, data upload, consulting with the customer constantly, customer meetings, writing analysis papers, functional design documents, and system configuration).
  • Customer support:
    • We help those customers whose system has already gone live. So, in this case, finding a proper solution for a problem is critical. As we are talking about a live environment, it can not be modified as easily as an environment before go-live during the implementation phase.
  • Holding trainings:
    • On-site has a different meaning. We keep workshops where we need to present the system's standard functionalities, business processes, and customer-specific developments to the customer. I have kept around 20 workshops during my staying in Australia.
